For more than 160 years, the Penshurst Hotel has been at the heart of the community. Together, we are securing its future through community ownership, restoring this historic landmark and ensuring it continues to serve Penshurst for generations to come.
The project is moving forward while the estate is settled and the purchase contracts are prepared.
The vendors have accepted the community's purchase offer of $410,000. The deposit is securely held in the selling agent's trust account while the estate is settled and contracts are prepared.
The remaining community investment funds are securely held in interest-bearing term deposits until they are required for settlement, restoration and future project needs.

Each community investment unit has a value of $5,000, providing a simple, transparent and equitable ownership structure through the Penshurst Hotel 1861 Unit Trust.
Community investment units are still available. New investment will help fund the restoration and renovation of the hotel, improve facilities, build working capital and support the long-term success of this community-owned asset.
